What films relevant to the environment have you seen lately?

Of recent, the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" is probably the most relevant material that has been shown within this past decade.

As one of the young bloods, I think environmental issues should come out more in the form of films so that people, especially majority of youngsters, can easily relate and grasp the necessary information that would otherwise appear insignificant and boring if read in a book or newspaper.

As advocates for the environment and for films, why don't we come-up here with a list of equally interesting films and relevant films on and for the environment?

The one who come-up with the most number of films gets an award

I can't agree more. The inconvenient truth tell us about the climate changed and some possible consequence if we live unsustainably in a simply way that many of us can understand.

Besides this movie,
one of my favorite environmental related movie is
The day after tomorrow.

The story is about global warming which causes large areas of the Greenland and Antarctic ice shelves to break off and melt, diluting the Atlantic Ocean with large amounts of fresh water. This disrupts the ocean's thermohaline circulation and slows the Gulf Stream, causing a rapid cooling of the northern hemisphere. This triggers a series of anomalies and extreme weather events, eventually leading up to a massive "global superstorm" system consisting of three gigantic hurricane-like superstorms, which result in an ice age for the northern hemisphere within days. (from wikipedia)

I'm sure many of us have watched this film. If you havent, watch it today.
